Context
The orchestra in Grenchen puts on different themed serenades throughout the year. They commissioned me to design a poster and the folded program for their upcoming concert and theater.
The poster is meant to show off some of the iconic elements of the theater plot.
It was supposed to be a normal school trip. A visit to a concert by the Grenchen City Orchestra. But then mysterious things start happening. People disappear, music blares from everywhere, a delayed carnival parade winds its way through the city... Jenny Chester's magic violin, crazy Frank, and a dash of magic all contribute to a turbulent and hilarious play and musical with many unexpected twists and turns. Let yourself be enchanted and help the “orchestra in distress.”

My Role
I began by sketching out different concepts and landed on two concepts. The second one fit the client's wishes more, so I refined different iterations. The landmark illustrations and the map in the background were created with Illustrator, whereas the sticker effect was made directly in InDesign.
